thanks so much everyone, for coming out to the Spring Hafla!

and can I say, the volunteers ROCKED! tons. thank you everyone!

and in the interest of producing more/better events, I would love to hear what people liked, didn't like, want more of, etc!

I know some folks really liked the swap meet, and I'm noticing a lot of area swapping events coming up! be sure to check them out :-)

what did folks think of the music?
did you find stuff you wanted and/or swapped stuff you didn't want?
did you like the potluck food?
how did the venue work out for you?

any other comments are welcome~!

    Hey Mab -- thanks to you and DCTribal for putting this together!

    I liked the venue...beautiful place..

    the musicians rocked! such a wonderful suprise to have them there! it was beautiful! I always wonder if the musicians have fun at these things?

    I lucked out and left the hafla with less than i brought -- so i was very happy about that. except that scarf you sold me, which, i shouldn't have bought, but oh well.... ; )

    someone brought that olive/baba ganoush/crack stuff from wegmans...and it was the best. someone should be required to bring that to every hafla. and to my house. all the time. yum.

    Venue good, although i would have liked a later event so it felt more like a party..

    hmmm.....other thoughts?

    I was impressed by the venue. the music kicked arse, and I got to talk with people I normally only see @ Tribal Cafe. I just wish there had been more people, maybe a later time would've been better? I know there's a lot of bellydance stuff (workshops) going on during the day on weekends so I think that's why some didn't show.

    Good times though :)
